The Mercedes-AMG® GT Four-Door

Many reviewers are talking about how the Mercedes-AMG® GT Four-Door defies convention. Mercedes executives say it’s the “first four-door sports car.” Reviewers nod to how powerful the AMG® GT Four-Door is. CarScoops was in awe: “the official 0-62mph sprint takes just 3.2 seconds. Top speed stands at 195mph in the ‘S’ model, which has 630hp and 663lb-ft of torque.” Not too shabby.

Mercedes-Benz EQ

Mercedes-Benz is well aware of the push for fuel-efficient and electric vehicles. It already offers some hybrid versions of popular models, but their EQ brand takes the cake. The EQ A concept was revealed at the Frankfurt Auto Show in 2017 and is said to be produced in the United States some time this year. Motoring.com reports the EQ concept could find its way into the AMG® lineup somewhere down the road. EQ should be giving Tesla a run for its money.

2018 Mercedes-Benz CLS Reviews

Drive.com.au drove and reviewed the 2018 CLS. They noted its new powertrain, “a family of six-cylinder turbocharged gas engines that are paired with a 48-volt electrical system that endows the CLS with mild hybrid properties.” The 2018 Mercedes-Benz CLS definitely has a sleek appearance and tons of gear and safety technology too. AMG® GT Black Series

No, there isn’t a Mercedes-Benz you didn’t hear about. The AMG® GT Black Series isn’t due to hit markets until 2020, but it is already getting some attention thanks to the Geneva Auto Show. CarBuzz remarked that Black Series AMG® models are “the most rare and hardcore AMG® models.” They also went on to say how Tobias Moers, head of AMG®, hinted at a Black Series variant being in the GT model’s future. Geneva Motor Show

Many of these developments were unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, which occurred March 8-18th in Switzerland. Amongst other things, Mercedes-Benz dropped the Mercedes AMG®-GT Coupe and whispered of its Black Series future. Although some models shown at this show aren’t available in the U.S., like those from the Chicago Auto Show, it is still quite fun to learn about them!
