Enjoy Emergency Auto Repair and Vehicle Protection with Mercedes-Benz Roadside Assistance

What is Mercedes-Benz Roadside Assistance?

Even with the excellent engineering crafted into every Mercedes-Benz, roadside accidents that require auto repair services can still happen. Whether a sharp object on the road causes a tire blowout or a large rock from a construction vehicle cracks your windshield, the road can be a dangerous and unpredictable place. This is where Mercedes-Benz Roadside Assistance comes in.

The Mercedes-Benz Roadside Assistance program provides a suite of emergency auto repair services for qualified Mercedes-Benz vehicle owners. The service operates 24 hours a day, seven a week. Simply call 1-800-367-6372 to speak to a Mercedes-Benz Roadside Assistance agent. Mercedes-Benz also offers a complimentary, GPS-enabled Roadside Assistance Mobile App that lets you quickly alert the Mercedes-Benz Roadside Assistance team of your immediate need for help.

Are you unsure of whether you or your vehicle qualify for auto repair services from Mercedes-Benz Roadside Assistance? Contact Mercedes-Benz of Sacramento today to learn more about this exclusive service.

Which Auto Repair Services are Covered Under Roadside Assistance?

The Mercedes-Benz Roadside Assistance program is an “on-call” service that operates every day of the year. Once contacted, certified Mercedes-Benz technicians will come to your location to offer assistance with any of the following vehicle issues:

  • Free towing for auto repair services to the nearest authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer, or in the case of an accident, to the nearest Mercedes-Benz Certified Collision Center
  • Flat tire servicing
  • Jumpstart for dead batteries
  • Lockout Service (pay-per-use for those without an active Mbrace account)
  • Limited refueling for empty gas tanks

If your Mercedes-Benz vehicle is still under warranty, you’ll not only receive some limited auto repair services but a limited amount of Trip Interruption reimbursement. This can include up to $300 per night for food, lodging and travel-related expenses for up to three consecutive nights. Trip Interruption applies only if:

  • You breakdown over 100 miles from home
  • Your mechanical issue is covered under warranty either makes the vehicle unsafe to drive or inoperable
  • Your vehicle must remain at an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer overnight before repairs can be completed

Review your vehicle warranty to determine if you’re eligible for all Roadside Assistance protections.

Which Services are Not Covered by Roadside Assistance?

The Mercedes-Benz Roadside Assistance program is limited to what can be reasonably accomplished by a technician outside of an authorized repair facility. As such, major repairs cannot be completed on the roadside. As well, more extensive auto repairs or procedures, such as an oil change service or collision repair, cannot be performed on the roadside.

There may also be limitations or extra charges to towing services, depending on the location of your vehicle and current weather conditions. For example, if your vehicle breaks down in a paid car garage, extra fees may apply. And if you decide to have your vehicle towed to a different location other than the authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer, you may also be charged an extra fee.

Am I Eligible to Receive Mercedes-Benz Roadside Assistance?

All Mercedes-Benz vehicle owners can take advantage of the auto repair services offered through the Roadside Assistance program. This includes owners who purchased the vehicle from a third party. However, complimentary services offered through the Mercedes-Benz Roadside Assistance program are only available if:

  • Your vehicle is still covered by any form of official Mercedes-Benz warranty
  • You purchased your Mercedes-Benz vehicle from an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership prior to January 4, 2011, and the vehicle is still registered in your name

Mercedes-Benz owners whose vehicles are outside of warranty, or who did not purchase the vehicle from an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer prior to January 4, 2011, can purchase individual Roadside services.
